How we eat can be one of the causative factors for the dysfunction of our digestive system, our orofacial muscles, poor tooth and gum health, and the temporal mandibular joints(TMJ), to name a few. Yet, we need to consider our eating habits more carefully. Do we?

When I work with oromyofunctional clients I address eating in far more depth as it can be an integral part of the orofacial dysfunction however not everybody has myofunctional issues. In 2021 I was asked to work on research that was actually about behaviour change within the dental practice but it became so much more than that for me when I hit upon the topic I would look into. Because the collective of research subjects was so small, three consenting adults in total, and the time to do so can be very lengthy, I decided against going through the process of publishing in dental and medical journals and get my results out there.

This information may guide you to simple changes that can help with problems you have been unable to manage and eliminate after years of trying. This paper will take 15 minutes of your time but go to Plan/Implementation for the simple instruction list on eating changes.
